FUN TIME: CAT GAMES!

Cat Breeds

WELCOME

This web site is for cat lovers charmed and awed by their grace and fascinated by their personalities. The gentle warmth, the outstretched paw, the quiet music of a purr—these have an almost mystic quality of comfort, in which the animal and human kingdom are brought together. However, because cats are the most beautiful of God's creatures, the most elegant, and the most graceful, we should not regard them through rose-colored glasses. Let us not forget that their exquisite bodies need scrupulous care and attention. Here, you will find information about cat breeds, daily tips for proper care of your cats or kittens and solutions to your cat problems.

Thought of the Moment

When a cat sits with both feet tucked inward and studies you with the same admiration you would direct toward a Rembrandt, you know you have been adopted.

Featured Breed: Himalayan

The breed copes quite well with children and other animals. However, their strong voices, when used, may remind you that there is indeed Siamese in the gene pool.

Eye Problems

A cataract is a white cloudiness occurring in the clear lens of the eye where light and images are focused. a corneal ulcer is a minor or deep wound on the surface of the eye itself. MORE [...]

When Do You Need the Veterinarian?

The most common cause of feline death is people bringing the cat to the veterinarian too late. Cats accept pain and discomfort in their bodies just as they accept a rainstorm or a cold day. They assume there's nothing to be done, so they try to make the best of it and to carry on as usual. Because they don't cry, or moan, or fall down, the average owners are completely in the dark about their pet's deteriorating health until the condition becomes so acute that the cat is weak from dehydration or gasping to breathe because the chest is half full of fluid.

Any change in your cat's usual behavior patterns should be carefully watched. If you notice a symptom, don't panic; it could be nothing. Observe whether a symptom persists or if there is more than one symptom present. Take a look at the following Checklist of Symptoms. It will help you gather the information that you can make note of and then convey to your veterinarian.
